ACS Division of Chemical Education Regional Award for Excellence in High School Teaching for 2008

• The recipient from the Northwest Region is Anthony Favero. Anthony teaches at Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Montana.
• The recipient from the Rocky Mountain Region is Jeff Statler. Jeff teaches at Kearns High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Rocky Mountain Region Excellence in College Teaching Award

• The recipient is Phil McBride from Eastern Arizona College

E. Ann Nalley Volunteer Service Award

• The awardee from the Northwest Region is Tim Hubler from the Pacific Northwest Laboratory

Stanley C. Israel Regional Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical Sciences

• This year's awardee from the Rocky Mountain Region is Maria Teresa Velez from the University of Arizona
