Research: I developed miniaturized planar electrode linear ion trap mass analyzer for portable mass spectrometry. Now I am working on the simulation of ion motion in the ion trap.

BS, Applied Chemistry, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, 2012

Research: Our group is studying different types of mass analyzers which function as selecting and separating ions with different masses to charge ratio in a mass spectrometer. I'm working on minimizing the size of linear ion trap to cater for developing a portable mass spectrometer, and studying the misalignment effect on the performance of a small linear ion trap.
