Come experience the unique opportunity to work as an undergraduate researcher in BYU's Talmage Internship and Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programs. We invite non-BYU students to apply.

The Talmage Internship is a sought-after 10-week laboratory position at a BYU Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry lab of the intern's choice. The TRI offers research in multiple disciplines, state-of-the art resources, personal attention from faculty, and the chance to co-author research publications. Many Talmage interns have used the TRI as a gateway to graduate school. In the case of BYU's undergraduate Biochemistry & Chemistry program, the TRI fulfills capstone and internship requirements.

Apply here for the Talmage Internship, which will next take place in the summer of 2021.

Research Experience for Undergraduates is also a 10-week summer program where students research in prestigious chemistry and biochemistry labs and apply their research to industry problems. REU features workshops, industry company visits, the opportunity to act as a counselor for BYU's Chemistry Camp, the opportunity to present at a national American Chemical Society meeting, and explore beautiful Utah national parks with fellow students.

Apply here for the REU program, which will also take place next summer.
