Sudam Mane, a Ph.D. student in analytical chemistry, is the first recipient of the Milton Lee Year-Round Graduate Fellowship in Analytical Chemistry.

Dr. Milton Lee, an emeritus professor at Brigham Young University, established an endowed year-round fellowship to recognize and support the next generation of leaders in analytical chemistry, reflecting Dr. Lee’s lifelong commitment to scientific excellence, innovation, and mentorship. This fellowship is awarded to exceptional PhD students in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, with a focus on those pursuing advanced research in analytical chemistry.

Sudam was also recently awarded the ASMS Graduate Student Award—one of only twenty recipients worldwide—recognizing his academic achievements and outstanding research in mass spectrometry.

The Department congratulates Sudam on both of these prestigious awards, and wishes him best in his continuing research.
