The fifth annual Reed M. Izatt and James J. Christensen Lecture Series were given by Richard N. Zare on February 7 and 8. Zare is a renowned chemist who has had a long and successful career. He is currently a professor of chemistry at Stanford University.

Robert Byron Bird, Chemical Engineer and Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will present the Fourth Annual Reed M. Izatt and James J. Christensen Lecture on November 17 and 18, at Brigham Young University.

Dr. George M. Whitesides of Harvard University will present the Reed M. Izatt & James J. Christensen lectures on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Wednesday, Nov. 4.
