Interested in sustainable materials engineering? This is the summer research program for you! The University of Utah is offering a 10-week learning experience where you can learn alongside skilled mentors and participate in weekly seminars and outdoor excursions.

2022 Ole Miss Chemistry Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) (posted 1/28/2022)

Participate in the “Ole Miss Physical Chemistry Summer Research Program” and work on a research project under the direction of a faculty mentor during Summer 22. Students will also receive training and learn how design, synthesis, and characterization work together.

Inclusive Graduate Education Network Bridge Programs

American Chemical Society Bridge Program (posted 1/28/2022)

This program is open to prospective Black, Latinx, and Indigenous students who are planning to pursue a doctoral degree in the chemical sciences. Within the program, students enroll in a one- to two-year Bridge Experience in a post-baccalaureate or transitional master’s program.

American Physical Society Bridge Program (posted 1/28/2022)

This is a post-baccalaureate program lasting one to two years, which is working to increase the number of physics PhDs awarded to Black, Latinx, and Indigenous students. There is also an opportunity to receive mentoring to help students complete PhD programs, enhance professional networks, and explore new career paths.

American Geophysical Union Bridge Program (posted 1/28/2022)

This program is the perfect fit for underrepresented minority students with degrees closely related to geosciences. Their goals are to help students obtain graduate degrees and create a network of peers, mentors, and advisors to support them on their journey.
