Tahareh Gholian Avval Wins AVS Poster Competition

PhD student Tahareh Gholian Avval has been awarded third prize in the American Vacuum Society's 2020 International Twitter Poster Competition. Avval's poster, entitled "Pattern Recognition Entropy (Shannon's Entropy): an Underutilized Tool for Data Analysis. A Comparison to Principal Component Analysis" can be seen below.
