Full-Time Faculty CFS Professorial Position

Full-Time Department Secretary

As the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff and visitors, you'll create lasting impressions and deliver exceptional customer service that sets the tone for our campus community. If you're ready to make an impact and engage with a diverse community, this is the opportunity for you!

Some of the responsibilities of this Faculty General Support role include:

  • Manage multiple high-pressure tasks and establish priorities for various projects and urgent requests.
  • Proctor exams, maintain the departmental website, and coordinate building maintenance with Physical Facilities and Custodial Services.
  • Assist faculty in coordinating around 35 seminars annually, managing travel arrangements and accommodations for external guests.
  • Manage the online TA application system, organize applications and assist faculty with approximately 350 TA assignments each year. Additionally, you'll submit textbook orders for 60 classes per term, maintain the book room for TA checkout, build relationships with textbook publishers, and coordinate library course reserves for department courses.
