Jesús Botello Published in The Journal of Organic Chemistry

BYU Chemistry student Jesús Botello recently co-authored the paper “Microwave-Promoted Synthesis of 1-Tetralones via Iminyl-Radical-Mediated 1,5-Hydrogen Atom Transfer” with now-graduated BYU Chemistry student Spencer Jones. It was published in the American Chemical Society’s "The Journal of Organic Chemistry," Volume 90, Issue 6.
Several students and mentors were involved in the making of this paper, including BYU PhD students Gracie Damstedt and Osasere Jude-Kelly Osayawe, with guidance from Dr. Steven Castle.
